About us

The Jabari Society of New Jersey is dedicated to empowering Black professional firefighters, enriching the local community, and reducing fire deaths and property loss. As the Englewood chapter of the International Association of Black Professional Fire Fighters (IABPFF), we focus on professional development and community engagement. Founded in 1993 by Kevin Wilson, we promote education, career advancement, and community enrichment through annual events.
